Now that we've seen the costumes, what do you guys think? Some of these designs feel much closer to the comics than what we've seen in previous MCU movies.
Do you think Marvel got the balance right, or would you change anything?
One of my favorites is still Wanda’s red look from WandaVision that she wore for Halloween. The fact that it was based on the classic Scarlet Witch costume from Marvel Comics made it such a great Easter egg. I still think about that one, LOL.

I think now that they’ve settled the copyright issues, that’s probably why they’re going with more comic-accurate suits. Before, Fox was making the X-Men movies, and they weren’t really using those classic yellow suits. But now that Marvel is making the movies themselves, they can finally use them.

I don’t know, I mean, I never really took that as a bad thing. Those suits aren’t always comic-accurate, but at the end of the day, they have to be practical for filming and everything. I’ve always liked movie costumes as their own thing and comic costumes separately.
Not just Marvel, DC is also going for more comic-accurate designs with the new DCU. We’ve seen it with Superman, then Supergirl, and now The Lanterns.
I’m not sure comic accuracy automatically makes a better costume. Some of the older MCU suits worked because they were redesigned for live action.
But I feel like it would have been a little too basic for a live-action movie. It was a cool Easter egg, but other than that, I don’t think I would’ve liked to see that plain red costume in a live-action Avengers movie.
